Hello, I'm Jonathan Walcher. 

Working out of my studio on Harbor Avenue in West Seattle, I primarily shoot headshots, personal banding, legacy portraiture and boudoir (www.zazaboudoir.com). Outside of the studio, I focus on entertainment, travel and street photography. 

My career in photography began in 2011 after my first year of taking film photography courses in college. It didn’t take long for me to discover I wasn’t drawn to landscapes or nature; I was drawn to photographing people. Iconic portraitists like Irving Penn and Yousef Karsh, fashion greats like Richard Avedon and Peter Lindbergh and street photography magicians Gary Winogrand, Robert Frank and Diane Arbus have been my biggest inspirations. 

I'm a dad and bonus dad to two brilliant and talented teenage boys. I'm married to my soulmate Leisa, to whom I'm forever grateful for her constant love, support and encouragement.

My time off is usually spent going to concerts, traveling, sailing and finding good food.
